You want to support her—but sometimes knowing the right way isn’t obvious. Many mothers carry an invisible load, balancing responsibilities, emotions, and expectations, while their partners want to help but aren’t sure how.
This 3 hour online workshop bridges that gap. Designed for partners to better support mothers, it offers practical guidance and a foundational understanding of supportive partnership. Mothers are invited too to co-create care - nothing without you for you. You’ll learn how to recognise and ease the weight of invisible labor, communicate needs effectively, and foster a shared sense of care and understanding - without assumptions or misunderstandings.
This isn’t about “fixing” anyone or giving a step-by-step rulebook. It’s about building science-backed clarity and grounded awareness—helping both partners understand what support really looks like, how to co-create care, and how to foster mutual trust and understanding.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to reflect, learn, and show up with care and intention.
This workshop is for you if:
You are a partner who wants to support the mother in practical, empathetic ways but aren’t sure how.
You are a mother who wants your partner to better understand and support the weight of invisible labor.
You want to build shared understanding, open communication, and stronger partnership dynamics.
You want to cultivate a household or relationship culture where care and support are mutual and intentional.
Takeaways:
How invisible labor and trauma can affect mothers’ well-being and daily life.
The key principles of trauma-sensitive and empathetic support within partnerships.
Common pitfalls and well-meaning mistakes that can inadvertently add stress.
How to balance care, boundaries, and autonomy while fostering trust and connection.
A free toolkit created based on community responses from employees and managers

What past participants are saying:
From our May 2025 Resilience Training for human service professionals, participants shared how the session helped them reframe resilience, reflect more intentionally, and feel supported in their work:
“It was very informative with real life experiences. Trainer was definitely vulnerable in her sharing that showcased how human this work is and that it's always a work in progress.”
“Resilience shifted from only a personal trait of grit/grin and bear it to something more holistic and encompassing—intrinsic, relational, buildable, and a constant process of unfurling and becoming.”
“That resilience is not about ‘sucking it up’ but the space in between knowing and not knowing—which can be messy.”
“Inform my language when in conversation with people in my life experiencing trauma.”
“That I don't have to feel fearful of having to say the perfect thing, but rather work on co-creating support together. And that even silence can hold space.”
