Spark Social Ventures (Spark) is looking for a thoughtful and organised Administrative Support Officer to join our small team. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys structure, values meaning in their work, and is keen to support an entrepreneurial social enterprise.

    About Spark

    Role

You’ll play an important role in helping Spark stay organised and responsive. This is primarily an administrative position, with opportunities to take ownership, contribute meaningfully, and learn as we grow together. You'll begin by supporting these key areas:

    • Training coordination – Manage training logistics from start to end (e.g. registration, pre-post surveys, feedback, reimbursements).

    • Consultancy support – Support client-facing projects to stay timely and well-prepared (e.g. setting timelines, prepping documents, coordinating logistics).

    • Client & collaboration support – Maintain smooth communication and follow-ups with individuals and organisations (e.g. scheduling, reminders, client enquiries, outreach tracking).

    • Admin & internal support – Keep Spark’s systems and records organised (e.g. file management, invoicing, knowledge management, note-taking, intern/volunteer coordination).

Work areas may shift as we grow, so we’ll keep checking in to ensure the role remains clear and manageable.

    Eligibility

    • Due to regulatory requirements, we are only able to hire Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents for this role.

    • Some experience in administrative or coordination roles is required. Experience in the training or consultancy sector is a plus.

    • Is able to start working as soon as possible (ideally by the first week of August).

We also welcome applicants from different life stages—including those transitioning sectors, pursuing part-time studies, managing caregiving responsibilities, or seeking a more sustainable pace of work.

    What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with the competencies and independence to manage this role effectively—especially in training coordination.

    • Training coordination – Proven ability to manage training logistics end-to-end: registration, reminders, setup, feedback analysis, and reimbursements.

    • Administrative organisation and coordination – Skilled in managing calendars, tracking timelines, and keeping multiple projects on course.

    • Digital systems and record-keeping – Competent in Google Workspace and spreadsheets; able to support basic budgeting and payments, and maintain tidy digital records.

    • Communication and clarity – Clear, professional communicator with reliable follow-ups.

    • Initiative and adaptability – Shows ownership, good time management, early issue-spotting, and openness to feedback and change.

    Working hours, compensation & logistics

    • Hours: 20 hours/week, ideally Monday to Friday, 9:30am–1:30pm (Flexible to accommodate other commitments. At least 50% of hours should overlap for coordination and meetings). May occasionally require weekend support for training programmes (hours can be adjusted during the week).

    • Contract: 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

    • Salary: $1,600/month + CPF

    • Location of work: This is a remote role based in Singapore. Internal meetings are usually held in person in public spaces around Singapore. You may also need to attend occasional client meetings and training sessions at external venues.

    • Equipment & access: Access to a working laptop and stable internet is ideal for this role. However, if this is a barrier, we’re open to discussing alternative arrangements.

We’re committed to creating a working environment that is fair, kind, and thoughtful. If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
