<image:title>Events - Completed - Digital Violence: How to support survivors - About the trainer:</image:title>
<image:caption>Anisha Joseph Anisha Joseph is the founder of Spark Social Ventures, a social enterprise promoting trauma-informed and resilience-building practices. A registered social worker in Singapore, she has over a decade of experience in violence against women, particularly sexual violence, training professionals and communities in trauma-informed responses. Her work also encompasses technology-facilitated sexual violence, including online harassment, image-based sexual abuse, and digital stalking, helping survivors navigate safety, trust, and recovery in both online and offline spaces. Prior to founding Spark, Anisha was the head of the Sexual Assault Care Centre and Women’s Care Centre at AWARE, Singapore’s leading gender equality organisation. There, she led a multidisciplinary team of over 18 staff and 50+ volunteers—social workers, counsellors, lawyers, and more—offering holistic, trauma-informed care to women in need and survivors of sexual assault. She also played a key role in shaping national conversations around sexual violence support services, technology-facilitated abuse, consent, victim-blaming, and gender-based violence, while training schools, workplaces, and community groups in trauma-informed responses. Anisha holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialisation in Criminology and Justice. Her early work in India focused on prison reform and human rights, grounding her approach in social justice, empathy, and systemic understanding. Join her trainings to not only learn the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of trauma-informed & resilience building practices, but to reconnect with the ‘why’. LinkedIn Profile here.</image:caption>
